The gameplay twist involves a reflected version of each stage that occupies the bottom half of the screen, where certain things are laid out differently. Samsara is an interesting puzzle game where you need to place objects and manipulate the environment to reach the exit of each level. Collision seems funky and I just don’t know how much joy you’re going to get out of simple, clunky combat like this apart from laughing at it for a minute or two. It also has a multiplayer mode where I guess you can bash away at each other? It just looks kind of cheap in action. You battle through a bunch of stages doing melee combat in worlds with an art style that is clearly biting off of Minecraft. This one kind of looks like junk to me, but maybe I’m just missing something. The Forge Arena New Releases Voxel Sword ($7.00) Can you customize your Tech? Yes, you can. It’s set for a vague release date of Q2 2019, so you can look forward to jumping into one of three different classes of War Techs and battling your way through more than 30 stages. Today, publisher Blowfish Studios announced that War Tech Fighters is being brought to the Nintendo Switch.

Developed by Drakkar Dev, this game came out on PC in the middle of last year, putting players in the cockpits of deadly mechanical machines of war. If you like smashing giant robots against bad guys, you might have an interest in War Tech Fighters. ‘War Tech Fighters’ is Coming to Switch Later This Year You can pick it up next week if you want to see where the whole QTE mess really got going. Sure, the animation is incredible, but is it really something people want to replay? I guess so! Anyway, the game is coming to Switch along with its sequel Dragon’s Lair 2 and sister title Space Ace in the form of the Dragon’s Lair Trilogy. Regular readers know I certainly appreciate the classics, but I’m somewhat baffled by the fact that Dragon’s Lair is still popular enough to justify re-releases on everything from DVD players to smartphones. Next Week Sees the Release of ‘Dragon’s Lair Trilogy’ on Switch That’s a lot of Final Fantasy in a little time, but I’m super-happy that Final Fantasy XII will be available on a handheld for the first time. Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD comes out on April 16th, with Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age hitting two weeks later on April 30th.

I don't know what the fuck to suggest anymore lol.Īt least she's happy to play Stardew Valley and the F2Ps with me. She also laments a lack of horror games, but doesn't want Outlast 1/2 because "too pricey", hates RE Revelations, has already played Layers of Fear and started Perception. I suggested the Telltale games but those are definitely outrageously expensive for the content. We are both waiting for stuff like Pillars of Eternity II. I already own Octopath and plenty of great indie stuff, but she's not really enthusiastic about those either, and she also has a big library on PC already. I already proposed Ys VIII, Tales of Vesperia, Xenoblade Chronicles II, Valkyria Chronicles I/IV just to fill the "story" aspect, but she's not too warm about it. My girlfriend wants something meaty to play on her Switch, something like The Witcher 3 with deep characters and story.
